  • 2 or 3 week programme (determined by current level of activity and individual goals)
  • Constraint mitt worn on unaffected hand for 90% of waking hours throughout programme
  • Therapy sessions for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week
  • Home practice task assignment every day including weekends

Many patients travel from around the UK and Europe to participate in a CIMT programme. We can provide recommendations on accommodation near our clinic locations.

Prior to a programme our therapists will conduct a telephone consultation followed by a formal assessment to ensure that the patient would benefit from constraint induced movement therapy and determine a realistic set of goals.

If you have a patient you would like to discuss, contact us today to speak with one of our CIMT therapists.
